if you go back far enough, there are many connections between each of the two companies and Vitesse.

new marketshare will be bringing in new revenue.

The two companies they speak of are: Frontier and Fairpoint

great to see that the telecom market is finally experiencing expandable strength, adding a new wave of marketshare in the direction of Vitesse.

It is a great leap of faith to assume VTSS will actually sell into these expanding opportunities. They haven't shown they can sell anything, anywhere, or anytime.

They've only been good at decreasing operating costs, some IP revenue, design wins, but never do we see an actual substantial sale.

AMCC now at a Price/Sales ration of 3.4. VTSS at something closer to 1.0 - 1.3 I don't know that i could make a case that VTSS should be at parity but if VTSS can show some revenue growth there is plenty of room up from here.

SELL SOMETHING.

"91% of the industry said their current IT infrastructure requires upgrades to meet new networking requirements."

"data center operators are trying to deliver services using 20-year old technology"

"51% plan to roll out ethernet fabrics in the next year."

many opportunities for Vitesse!

Upgrading one's smart phone does not have the allure it once did.

Perhaps the service providers need to sell that lte smart phone connected to an actual lte network in order to offer the next generation of apps. "Build it and they will come!"

Here is a recent story from the LA Business Journal regarding the so-called turnaround of Vitesse.

very interesting and a little odd on how Mr. Gardner actually sees things playing out.

then again, Vitesse is now a start-up company.

I wonder if Columbia Pacific has been continuing the liquidation of their holdings since the shareprice did not move up much this week.

** wouldn't be suprised to see Columbia Pacific filing their completed liquidation very soon.

** August 9, 2013 update
