YES!!!!.....Now we're talking!!!!!!

I seem to recollect Cisco was a 15% customer last quarter...looks like VTSS has found a winner with the big guys endorsing their solution.

I'm holding onto this puppy as I think their vision is starting to materialize. Go VTTS!!!!

Absolutely Pac, i read same article copied it as I reflected on how prior Vitesse releases fit nicely within this vision. I am confident Vitesse has more surprises for us along the lines of more 10% customers; Crg mentioned GE and Aston doing some serious work/building in the IOT world, perhaps one or both could become a 10 percent customer sooner then later. About a year ago Crg boasted about Chinese companies clamoring all over Vitesse for IOT! there is plenty room for several 10 percenters from China and India.

Could it be, can it be that VeriTime/intellisec are truly the only game in town for anything needing Timing/synchronization and serious cost effective security???
If yes, this companies future will be paved with gold!!!!

Useless,

The companies Novel Concept seems destined for Stardom and in the process extending the life of earlier products, Caracal, I wonder what this means for the TIGER!!

"Implementing 1588v2 and Y.1731 directly in the PHY improves the accuracy of the implementation, allowing equipment vendors to seamlessly upgrade existing systems with these new standards without having to upgrade the switch or network processor silicon. The new Vitesse PHYs offer a low-risk and fast time-to-market implementation from a hardware and software standpoint."

"“Time-stamping can be implemented at the MAC or switch layer, yet we see advantages in this new approach Vitesse is providing - placing synchronization at the physical-layer interface. In particular, it provides equipment manufacturers a simple 1588v2 and Y.1731 upgrade path for existing platforms,” said Michael Howard, principal analyst at Infonetics Research. “The combination of network timing and OAM performance monitoring in 10G networks helps to make guaranteed Service Level Agreements and network fault resilience possible.”

Buyout of Riverbed Tech (RVBD) for $ 3.6 bil announced today. Buyouts of tech companies continues with no interest in VTSS.

Amazing- VTSS could be bought for lunch money (Current cap $ 252 mil) and despite IntelliSH#% etc. there is still no interest!

We keep hoping VTSS will hit a winner and actually sell something. Look at the amazing success of Skyworks Solutions (SWKS). They are running on all 8 cylinders. There are former VTSS employees that went to work there that are ecstatic.

SWKS stock hitting new highs ($ 82/share)- stock was below $ 20 in 2012. They have a plan that they execute and products that customers want. We just hang in there with the same old management with a proven inability to execute- sad!
