Time for our quarterly ritual. Let's hope more of the new product line/IoT (the gazillion dollar market) contributes to the bottom line.

Gardner put Q1'15 anywhere from $24 ~ $26.5M. The anal-ists place earnings within a range of $24.62 ~ $25.70M with the average $25.09M. My own model is showing $26M (on the high side), and this assumes that the entire hit to legacy happens in the first quarter (my reason for thinking "low-ball", but not THAT much). If VTSS did show a significant upside surprise, although it would be welcome, I suspect that people would be wondering where did it come from and how come management didn't see it coming. -- don't forget the last earnings call happened near the end of Q1'15: the quarter was virtually complete at that point. How could you NOT have visibility by then?

An uptick in VTSS' markets is welcome news, but will likely benefit subsequent quarters only.

Good analysis phobos. It is pathetic though that we are looking at a range of revs. for the quarter that are say $ 24 - $ 26.5 mil.

When are we going to become a real company with growth instead of a hobby for CRG?

I'll stick with $26M. AMCC dropped about 20% in the last week due to disappointing earnings. Why am I thinking I will be disappointed?

My $26M figure assumes all of the hit to legacy in Q1 with the growth in new products undisturbed. Less than that would indicate to me more, uh "softness in China".

No more excuses CRG. Let's get it done.
