VTSS has moved on and so I guess should we. This site will come up for renewal in the mid summer. I am going to set an arbitrary date of June 15 to turn out the lights.

Has anyone else moved into MSCC or found an active message board for them? I still Lurk here everyday.
I did and am down a little so far. Maybe I can start averaging down for the next 10 years! I don't really have a feel for whether or not the Vitesse line could have a significant impact on their price or not.
Ameritrade finally cashed out the VTSS shares I was holding when they stopped trading.

No plans to invest in any company that purchased VTSS ... having a great ride with what use to be TQNT and is now QRVO ... up almost $ $180k on it in three years which covers my $160 loss on VTSS over 14 years .... did I say 14 years ... WTF was I thinking ... Good luck to all and a special shout out to dlog for keeping the "lights on" .... I regret never having met any of you in person.

What a learning experience this has been and what a terrific group of people. In spite of what I might have said earlier, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on AMCC. They seem to have a lot of buy-in for their top-of-rack server on a chip, although the heavy competition is worrisome. The shares seem to be up since earnings, but treading water today. I like the fact that it is a small company with responsible financial management, and upside potential.
I too regret not having met any of you in person. Thank you dlog for making a place for the screwed and abandoned vtss investors. You did us all a real service.

Ditto dlog for taking it upon yourself to provide a forum for VTSS investors to obtain information and ventilate their frustrations when our dreams didn't come to fruition.
Also thanks phobos and others for putting on your analyst hats and providing excellent research. Good luck with AMCC , another perennial semi stock with potential and rumored merger/buyout candidate for VTSS.

As many others, this will be my last post (I think). Why were we all here - because we believed in VTSS? I don't think so - we were all arrogant - we couldn't face that we were WRONG...
I thought about this and reflected on that I was trying to prove how smart I was - that I could pick another 12X baggers. "Pride goeth before....."
That is what I think it was, for sure, but I finally got out last year. I traded what was a POS company where I was a little fish swimming in a small pond with BIG fish for what is now the BEST company in the world. Instead, I am still a little fish, but I am so small no one notices me at all. I can swim and eat without being bothered and what I do is so insignificant that I am not in any danger except from my own stupidity. And I am working on that.
I hope all of you come to the same realization......Live well and prosper.
