Isn't this exactly two full months after quarter and year end was complete? Still unacceptable to wait this long for results. Hopefully patience is a virtue will be rewarded for all the longs here for what seems like an eternal wait now for this firm to become a a viable and money earling company.

I am assuming the 10K will be filed the same day. This brings up a couple of things.
Whitebox loan. What has happened here. Typically a company would release the refinancing or securring of a new credit line etc as soon as the deal is complete. It is widely considered a material event. It certainly would be considered one it the case of VTSS. We have no announcement yet. What is up here? We will certainly know when the 10K is filed at least.
Second. For a normal company the annuncement of a earnings release date would be tacit assurance that the revenue for the September quarter came in very close to the guidance provided, hence no announcement for a miss (either up of down). Again, I have no confidence in management given their history that they are aware of protocol in communicating to investors. So I don't know that I can take too much comfort from no announcement (on revenue) just yet.

CC changed to the first! the thought of the 13th plus yonker and gardner was giving me images of "Night of the living dead" with y and g in a trance; Dlog, a new Vtss is in the making, the old dogs are making adjustments! the perna calming affect i call it. lets cut them a new slice of 'confidence" pie. Opportunity might be bouncing our way friends!!!!!!

A new SEC 13G filing yesterday. Columbia Pacific Opprotunity came in with 1.5 million shares or 6.4%
If the Bondholders are still holding their shares the number of outstanding shares available to trade is diminishing.
Pumptastic time approaching?

Today is November 10. We have yet to hear anything about a refinance. The reporting date is Dec 1. The last possible reporting date without being late is December 31 so VTSS is reporting 30 days early. That tells me the issue of the whitebox loan has been resolved. I'm just not sure how. Has VTSS decided they can't get it done by December 31 so lets just get the numbers out and keep working on it. Or is a deal already done and the contracts will be signed on December 1? (I guess we could still see an announcement before December 1 but it is looking less and less likely.)
I just have to believe that management will do everything possible to avoid having that loan classified as a "current liability". And they would have to do everything possible to avoid having a qualified auditors opinion. So if they don't get the the loan taken care of I have to conclude that they made every effort to get it done and just couldn't do it. That would be a major concern because we are then down to the crisis financing mode.

Hey Dlog,
A slightly different view from me on WB loan in that I think (hope?) Vitesse is more interested in simply paying it off than refinancing. An announcement of a $5 or $10 million payment followed by comments that there will be some patent sales (MSPD has announced ~$15 million worth in last 6 months including some for this Q) with that money going to extinguish the remaining balance, along with cash generated from operations will do nicely imo.....though Vitesse appears to enjoy operating in crisis mode.

I hope your scenario is the right one. It would be much better than a refi.
